Move to Atlanta

In Rick’s own words:

One day, after feeling pretty weak from competing in a Colorado barbecue contest, I had a routine physical. Turns out I had an issue with my liver, and that soon I would be facing some hard decisions regarding my health and future.

It is times like these that a man re-evaluates what he wants to do with the remainder of his days, and reassess his goals and vision. An opportunity came up with Stacey for a promotion and transfer to Atlanta, GA. We closed and sold the barbecue business, and never looked back.

Dabbling in politics, including motorcycle safety lobbying at the Georgia Legislature, I felt compelled to me more productive with the time I had left.

My health is maintained by a traditional Chinese Medical practitioner, who does a great job, despite all the stress of the current tussles with the City of Atlanta and the neighborhood groups. I have never backed down from a fair fight; it is the way this Texan was raised.
